Our fundraiser was a success!

Our Fall Fundraiser was a huge success, raising over $5000 to support education in Chamwino, Tanzania. If you weren’t able to attend, but would still like to support us, please get in touch or donate online. We are offering our monthly donors of $50/month or more a framed photograph from a local photographer.

The Power of Ngoma

Music is an influential educational tool in Chamwino. Music, dance, and art are used to teach values, identity, morals, and history of their culture to the youth. CC partners with the local non-profit Chamwino Arts Centre to support their cause to preserve and promote traditional Ngoma as a focus for identity, education and successful transition to a modern world.

Worldreader Program

CC has teamed up with Worldreader to provide books and reading materials for the Secondary School Library.  With support from donors and in partnership with Worldreader, 75 e-readers have been provided to the library. The library is used daily by students and community members in the Chamwino.
