Team leaders from the Chamwino Arts Centre have been traveling around the world this past year participating in Project F.I.R.E (From Idea to Reality and Execution), a multi-phase training course in project management and planning for CAC staff who are leading our education projects and programs in Chamwino. Training course 1 was in South Africa, Training course 2 was in Tanzania and training course 3, was in Bulgaria. It has been a collaboration with other leaders from around the world in a partnership with the European Union.
Training course 2 was held at the University of Dar Es Salaam Department of Arts where 20 youth workers and leaders engaged in a training around project planning and management through the methods of SWOT analysis, Tree of Problems and Tree of Solutions, and the SMART goals.
This training specifically was designed to provide effective management tools to leaders when implementing community projects as there many challenges faced in executing a successful program.
